Addicted to Dunzie

I set my watch this morning when I went to Panera Bread for 30 minutes.  I was determined to only spend 1/2 an  hour and ended up being there for over two hours.

I posted the following comment on my writing classes group page:

My name is Ross and I am addicted to Dunzie!

This generated the following conversation thread:

Patti:  LOL! Admitting it is the first step. Welcome, Ross. :-)

Ross: Surely there must be a 12 step recovery program(Dunzie Anonymous) to follow ;)

LisaRose:  The 12 Steps of Dunzie Addicts Anonymous

Step 1 - We admitted we were powerless over our addiction - that our lives had become unmanageable
Step 2 - Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity
Step 3 - Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood God
Step 4 - Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves
Step 5 - Admitted to…oh, look!...there’s that book I wanted to read…so glad to have found it.
Step 6 - Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character
Step 7 - Humbly asked…what was the question, again?
Step 8 - Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all
Step 9 - Made stories and essays and blog posts about our past errors, our dunzie addictions, and our willingness to do something about it
Step 10 - Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it
Step 11 - Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our attention span

Ross: LisaRose, this is exactly what I need! VT community Rocks ;)

What did I not notice?

I will post the rest of the story tomorrow.
